The Polynesian Cultural Center is located in the windward side of the island. This is the number one paid attraction in the island and the whole of Hawaii. The park has a land area of 42 acres and you can find man-made Polynesian villages. While you’re strolling in the park, you can interact with the Polynesian students, look at IMAX movies, enjoy the Hawaiin Luau, canoe pageant, and other events in the center such as the Horizons. Musicians and dancers participate in the event to entertain tourists and local residents. August is nearing and another annual event will be held called the Te Manahua Maori festival. Competitions will be held and the competitors are from the local, national, and even international levels. Watch out for it.
