It is perhaps no great wonder that The Happiest Place on Earth is also the most luminous and enlightening – a fact that presents itself in the marvelous display of fireworks that is an amalgamation of fireworks and Disney plots, themes, characters & settings. The Child in you can but marvel and the adult stare agape as grand firework displays unfold in front of your very eyes, making dreams come true, imaginations fired up, heart’s pumping, adrenaline rushing and the collective unconscious sublime. These fireworks and fire shows are renowned throughout the world for not only their emotional effect on the audience by their simple, lucid yet heart-touching quality but also for their level of technological advancement. The show now employs and boasts of cutting-edge technology to result in the maximum possible entertainment of both the child and adult in you without being a threat to the fragile ecosystem we live in. After all, the very purpose of Disneyland is the celebration of life and joie de vivre.
These fireworks, often accompanied by Tinker Bell from Peter Pan, have had the honor to be recently upgraded, thereby transforming themselves into a show that is more elaborate and comprehensive. It now includes novel story lines, state-of-the-art pyrotechnics, and multiple launch techniques. To safeguard the environment, a Mark II Integrated Air Launch Pyrotechnic System was adopted by Disneyland in 2004. The plus points of this spectacle system were numerous – not only was its impact continuously appreciating but it also attenuated smoke at the ground and the accompanying auditory impediments that were the chief negative environmental repercussions. Also, with the advent of this technology, Disney decided to further its goals of happiness by donating the patents to a non-profit organization for use in the industry.

Moreover, to cater to its customer base in the fun and frolicking period of holidays, an exclusive Disney fireworks extravaganza called Believe…In Holiday Magic is continuously executed by the Disney Universe. It integrated the universal joy of holidays with a celebration of the spirit of childhood. Apart from a brief break in 2005 during the entertainment park’s golden jubilee Celebrations, this bonanza has continued unabated each year to make spirits, both young and adult, soar to the extremes of human knowledge, experience and bliss.
