Seattle nestles a rare marketplace in the urban America called the Pike Place Market located right on the waterfront near the downtown area. Enjoy a leisurely walk along its stalls and have a good time buying fresh fish, fruits, delicious produce, street foods, and beautiful crafts.
Before going back to your hotel after a whole day of shopping, don’t miss a visit in the world’s first Starbuck’s coffee situated right next to the market where the original Starbuck’s mermaid stands.

This 92-acre land located at the southwestern edge of Greenlake in Woodland Park is home to lions, elephants, great apes, bears, birds and more animals. It is hailed for its naturalistic exhibits which resulted in its being known as one of the best zoos in the world.
Amazing Skyscraper: Space Needle
Take a view of the whole city at the top of Seattle’s futuristic skyscraper, the Space Needle. This landmark which is one of the city’s best tourist attractions offers a 360 degree unobstructed viewing experience at the O deck and delicious menu at their new restaurant called “SkyCity.” The place is also a home to festive events such as the annual New Year’s Eve fireworks display. So if you happen to be in the city on New Year’s Eve, take time to experience the exciting activities it can offer.
At the base of Seattle’s Space Needle is a building built like a smashed guitar called Experience Music Project. If you are a huge Jimi Hendrix fan or simply a music lover, enjoy watching the world’s largest collection of Jimi Hendrix memorabilia in this landmark, or try jamming with the musical instruments in its interactive room.
This place is a museum of music history located in the famed campus of Seattle Center in the Pacific Northwest. After playing great music inside Experience Music Project, stroll through tomorrow’s imaginary worlds at the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame located just inside the EMP building. Scan through several themed galleries that display memorabilia in large display cases. Here you can find a collection of artifacts such as Captain Kirk’s command chair from Star Trek, the B9 robot from Lost in Space, the dome from the film Silent Running and the X Prize trophy which is currently displayed in the lobby of the museum.
