If you’re planning a vacation to the U.S. Virgin Islands then you probably want to know when is the best time to go to the U.S. Virgin Islands? Since the weather in the U.S. Virgin Islands is tropical the temperature ranges from around 70 during the winter months to about 90 in the summer. The sun shines almost year round in the U.S. Virgin Islands and even if there is some rain it is U.S.ually a sun shower and the rain U.S.ually stops fairly quickly so really there is no bad time to go to the U.S. Virgin Islands. During the summer months there are less people traveling to the U.S. Virgin Islands so the summer months are considered to be the off season. If you travel during the summer season you will find that there are a lot less tourists and that traveling to the U.S. Virgin Islands is a lot cheaper than if you go during the summer months that are the most popular months for vacations. The high season in the U.S. Virgin Islands when there is the greatest number of travelers is from about December until about April. That’s U.S.ually the most active tourist season for most of the Caribbean islands becaU.S.e people who are sick of the cold and snowy conditions throughout the rest of the U.S. and other countries too will head to the Caribbean to soak up some warm temperatures and sunshine. If you want to save money and not have to fight with other tourists to get the best hotel rooms or vacation rentals then it’s a good idea to go to the U.S. Virgin Islands during the summer season.

One aspect of the weather of the U.S. Virgin Islands that sometimes makes people wary of going there is that the U.S. Virgin Islands sit right in the middle of the hurricane belt. It’s understandable that a lot of people wouldn’t want to take the risk of getting caught in a hurricane but hurricanes are very predictable and chances are good that if there were a hurricane predicted during your vacation you would have plenty of warning and would have plenty of time to leave before the hurricane hit. If you are worried that you will spend a lot of money on a great tropical vacation in the U.S. Virgin Islands only to have your vacation cut short by a hurricane then you should look into getting some vacation insurance. If you have vacation insurance and your trip gets cut short by a hurricane you might be able to get some of the expenses of the trip returned to you. You also will be able to get back any money you spend for extra expenses like if you needed to take an emergency flight home becaU.S.e of a hurricane. If you were to get stuck in a hurricane vacation insurance would most likely reimburse you for any extra purchases you needed to make in order to get through the hurricane so if you’re planning on traveling to the U.S. Virgin Islands during hurricane season it would be a good idea to purchase some vacation insurance.
